Moon and Life On Earth

Moon and Life On Earth
Did you know? The fact is – No Moon No Life on Earth. If we had no moon then life may not have existed on the planet earth. The Earth’s axial tilt is officially called the obliquity. The Earth’s obliquity is essentially stable due to the presence of the moon. The moon acts as a global gyroscope stabilizing and maintaining the earths axis tilt. Astrobiologist Lynn J. Rothschild believes that if we had no moon then we would have what astrologists called a chaotic obliquity. And this would have resulted in an uneven distribution of the sun’s light — devastating the finely balanced weather system.
