Balsam (Impatiens balsamina) grows well in full to partial sun. But in hot climate regions like India where tempratures go upto 40 degrees centigrade keep the plant in shade. A well drained soil is good for Balsam also do add fertilizers regularly. It is also know as garden garden jewelweed, rose balsam, spotted snapweed, touch-me-not. It is found in Asia (india, Burma, China)
