Pune has video cassette Libraries in every nook and corner.  Some of the Libraries need a reference before enrolling you as a member or you need to pay a deposit ranging from Rs. 100 to Rs. 500. In some of the libraries you can pay the deposit every time you rent the VCD/DVD this deposit may be a fixed amount of Rs. 100 or the MRP of the VCD/DVD. You get back this deposit either when you return the DVD/VCD or when you discontinue the membership. The rental charges (per day) for DVD/VCD ranges from Rs. 20 to Rs. 40 for VCD and to Rs. 20 to Rs. 100 for DVDs.
There are a few Libraries where you can rent the DVDs/VCDs at a fixed amount of Rs. 200 per month. These Libraries allow you to keep the DVDs/VCDs for 2 to 7 days, but you need to subscribe for their membership for at least 3 months. They also provide free home delivery and pick up.
